Wales Bonner and Adidas are back for the new season, fusing the performance and aesthetics of sport with luxury for another eye-catching collection. As usual, the footwear stands out with new interpretations that elevate Adidas's sports designs to a level of decidedly luxury materiality.
The collaboration aims to transform the design codes of sports like soccer and running into more refined and ultra-chic pieces.
After the Wales Bonner Samba brought soccer aesthetics back into fashion, the designer reinterprets the Gazelle this time. Available in both python print and pony hair, the sophisticated sneaker is crafted from rich, premium brown leather. The mix of patterns and materials adds texture to a shoe already beloved by fashion insiders, elevating the brightly colored sneaker to a mature and ultra-luxurious style.
The Karintha sneaker pays homage to the first adidas soccer cleats, offered in classic black with white stripes. The Wales Bonner logo is printed in gold on the side, above the iconic stripes, and a cognac-colored toe cap completes the retro vibe. Handcrafted in Brazil, a lightweight, woven version has also been created, perfect for summer temperatures.
Completing the footwear selection for SS26, the Adizero Adios is a performance sneaker reinterpreted with a fashionable twist. In a shade of brown consistent with the rest of the collection, it features a mesh upper enclosed by leather stripes, suede details, and contrasting stitching.
